This page is dedicated to all those budding readers out there. Always curious what books are suitable to recommend to your children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren & students? Click on each cover to read my review and/or a review from a young reader themselves.

When my kids were small, one of our favorite things was going to the library and carrying out bags of borrowed books to read together. As a teacher, I was looking forward to the day where we could read novels and chapter books together and have our own little book club. Now they are older and I have this blog, so here we are. My current career as a Literacy Associate at my public library has given me a different kind of interaction with children to when I was a teacher. Kids of all ages are coming in looking for reader’s advisory and my goal is to become even more educated and diverse in children’s literature, especially the middle grades (Ages 8-12) If you have a recommendation , please share in the comments!
