Miscellaneous Monday

miscell monday

ReadingDear Fang, With Love by Rufi Thorpe. It’s such a great read and I find myself wanting to get to it as much as possible.

Wanting…more brain space, especially to blog more. I have intentions to write more every week and then get bogged down with homework that I have nothing else to give, mentally. Stay with me readers, only two more weeks until this summer school nightmare comes to an end.

Listening…to my favorite podcast, TED Radio Hour by NPR. It’s the only podcast I’ve stayed with consistently and it really does my mind and soul good. The two I’ve listened to recently that made me nod feverishly and have so many “aha” moments are A Case For Optimism and Nudge. I recommend both highly!

That’s it for now, friends. Hopefully a review will be up this week.

  1. Yes, I love the Ted Radio Hour too. They talk about such fascinating things, many of which I never would’ve thought about. Show me new ways of looking at things. And the talk is always told in a very accessible way.

  2. I’ll have to look into that podcast. I always struggle with devoting time to podcasts or audiobooks… right not audiobooks are winning out, but I keep stockpiling podcasts people recommend that I will hopefully make time for one of these days.

  3. I’m glad you’re liking Fang, it’s definitely on my list. I really wish I wasn’t so militant about audiobooks, because I do miss the podcasts I used to listen to and there are so many recommendations going around. That’s something I need to work on.

  4. I can’t even imagine how you’re writing anything at all- and I completely understand. It is a very different kind of mental energy and not something that can be summoned at will. I’d be drained by schoolwork.

Take your time, we’ll be here!
