On a personal note...

It’s Monday, November 30. What Are You Reading?

This week/weekend was great. I was able to spend time with my family for Thanksgiving and had a few extra days off as well. I plowed through some decorating books (review to come) and still working on The Omnivore’s Dilemma by Michael Pollan. It’s great so far but I think reading about the crap we eat during the holiday season is not the best match. Maybe for January 1.

Nonfiction November has been excellent for me. It revived my waning habits of reading nonfiction and even though I won’t get through the rest of my books by today, I have a few more I’m looking forward to reading.

I picked up Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson and the audio of Being Mortal by Atul Gawande.

What are you reading this week?

  1. LOL, this may not be the best time of year to read The Omnivore’s Dilemma! Being Mortal is such an important book (though not exactly a fun read) and Just Mercy is near the top of my wish list. This has been a great Nonfiction November!

    • Great minds! I just started the audio of Being Mortal and loving it so far. Not the death and dying part but hearing from the perspective of a doctor. I can’t wait to start Just Mercy for I’ve heard great things.
